2027 international Society of Trace Elements in the Environment Conference
About ISTEE 2027
The inaugural ISTEE Conference will take place June 14 to 18, 2027 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, chaired by Prof. Daniel Alessi. Hosted by the newly formed International Society of Trace Elements in the Environment, ISTEE27 brings together the long-standing ICOBTE and ICHMET conference series under a single society, marking a new chapter for the global trace element research community.
Conference Background
Rather than focusing on a single element or environmental medium, the conference is designed as a multidisciplinary forum where state of the art research is presented and discussed from multiple perspectives. The program will address trace elements in the environment across analytical chemistry, biogeochemistry, applied geochemistry, environmental management, public health, industrial processes and environmental policy.
Call for Special Sessions
On behalf of the International Society of Trace Elements in the Environment (ISTEE) and Conference Chair Dr. Daniel Alessi, we invite proposals for Special Sessions at ISTEE27, taking place June 15 to 18, 2027, at the Edmonton Convention Centre in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
Call for Special Sessions invites proposals for special sessions on emerging, timely or high-interest themes in trace element research. Successful proposals will be scheduled into the conference program as a full session with the individual(s) submitting the stage 1 proposal serving as session chair(s) during the conference.
