Diversity, Language, Inclusion
Diverse Cultures, Languages, worldviews, and human experience characterize the world that we live in. Diversities reflect the multitude of domains related to us and our lives, such as language, culture, gender, ethnicity, and age. Diversity is a lens through which we gain insights into the various perspectives and experiences that shape us and our world. By acknowledging and studying diversities in interaction, we open our research and ourselves to a wealth of knowledge that broadens our understanding of ourselves and the world around us and creates positive social change. Thus, diversity is a force fueling innovation and progress.
The theme of ICCA2026 - Diversities, Language, Interaction - highlights the multiplicity of diversities and brings a diversity lens to our research on language and interaction.
