What do I get with a full conference registration?
Conference registration includes access to all conference sessions, Friday and Saturday lunches, Saturday and Sunday breakfasts, the Friday Night Family Social, the Saturday ASG Awards Dinner, and the Sunday morning Gutsy Walk. Visit the program to learn more.

How do I know what registration category I fit into?
Physicians include directors and physicians practicing GI or who have an interest in GI, and members of the AMA GI Section.

Associates include health professionals such as nurses and nurse practitioners, dieticians, pharmacists, and researchers.

Trainees include medical students, residents, and fellows training in GI.

What is included in my guests' registration?
Your adult guest(s) (18+) will have access to the Friday Night Family Social, the Saturday lunch, the Saturday ASG Awards Dinner, and the Sunday morning Gutsy Walk.

Your teen guest(s) (13-17) will have access to the Friday Night Family Social, the Saturday lunch, and the Sunday morning Gutsy Walk.

Your child guest(s) (3-12) will have access to the Friday Night Family Social, the Saturday lunch, and the Sunday morning Gutsy Walk. Babysitting will be provided for children aged 3-12 during the Saturday ASG Awards Dinner.

Infants (2 and under) are free of charge.

Will I get a room at the Rimrock Resort Hotel?
The ADDS Conference Secretariat has secured discounted room rates at the Rimrock Resort Hotel, starting at
$373however, delegates are responsible for booking their own rooms. Rooms are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

A booking link will be provided in the confirmation email once you complete your registration.

I just registered, what do I do now?
A confirmation email will be sent to you at the email you used to register. Please check your junk/spam/promotion folders, as it may be filtered into there.

Closer to the conference, additional information and app download instructions will be sent to you. In the meantime, spread the word about ADDS to your colleagues!

How much does registration cost?

What is the Early Bird registration deadline?
Early bird pricing closes on April 30th, 2024 at 11:55pm. 

What payment methods are accepted?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa and Mastercard). E-transfers and e-payment sites like PayPal are not available. Payment must be made in Canadian Dollars (CAD). All fees are subject to GST.

I want the discounted ticket price but I'm not as ASG member yet, where do I go?

What if I need to cancel my registration?
Notice of cancellation must be made in writing to the ADDS Conference Secretariat at adds@buksa.com on or before May 24, 2024 in order to receive a refund.

A $100 (plus GST) cancellation fee will apply to Physician and Single Day conference registrations.

A $25 (plus GST) cancellation fee will apply to Associate and Trainee registrations.

Any cancellations made after May 24, 2024 will not be refunded. No refunds will be issued for dinner tickets at any time.

How much is parking at the Rimrock Resort Hotel?
Parking is available at a daily rate of $25 per vehicle for conference attendees. Valet parking is $39.

I'm a GI fellow. What's in it for me?
In addition to getting a discounted ticket price and being able to network with the Alberta GI community, you will have access to an exclusive Fellow’s Social on Friday evening, and Fellow’s Exam Prep with Dr. Connie Switzer on Saturday afternoon. The Exam Prep is for both Adult and Pediatric GI fellows.

I'm a GI nurse. What's in it for me?
In addition to getting a discounted ticket price and being able to network with the Alberta GI community, you will have access to an exclusive Nurse’s Social on Friday evening, and a Nurse’s Program facilitated by Joan Heatherington on Saturday afternoon.

What is the Friday Night Family Social?
The Friday Night Family Social is an event with food and activities for conference attendees and guests of all ages. More information on this event will come soon!

What is the Saturday ASG Awards Dinner?
The Saturday ASG Awards Dinner is a formal gala that includes a plated meal, the Saturday keynote presentation, and presentation of the 2024 ASG Awards. Prior to the dinner there will be a networking cocktail reception.

This event is for adults only. Childcare is provided for parents, at no additional cost, by Care In a Pinch Childcare. Visit their website here for more information.

What is the Gutsy Walk?
The Gutsy Walk is a fundraising event that takes place across Canada on Sunday, June 2nd. ADDS is excited to partner with Crohn’s and Colitis Canada for a second year to host this walk in the beautiful Rocky Mountains, with ASG President Dr. Jesse Siffledeen leading the walk. Click here to learn more.

Are international attendees permitted?
International attendees must have a letter of support from an Alberta GI physician in order to attend. Any unaccepted international registrations will be fully cancelled and refunded.
