How do I apply for a bursary?
If you are not yet registered for ADDS, please register here and you will be able to apply for a bursary within the registration form. Ensure you are registering as an ASG member.
If you are already registered, complete the short form here. This will require you to log back in to your registration; the bursary form will be available on the last page. Note that the page will only be available if you registered as an ASG member for the full conference. If you still can't see the form, please contact adds@buksa.com.

Applications close May 17, 2024 at 11pm MT.
How much is the bursary?
Bursaries are $500 each.
What are the nurse bursary requirements?
- Must be registered for all three days of ADDS.
- Must be an ASG member.
- Must participate in all conference sessions, including the nurses' program.
- Must be an RN or LPN working in gastroenterology in Alberta.
What are the fellow bursary requirements?
- Must be registered for all three days of ADDS.
- Must be an ASG member.
- Must participate in all conference sessions, including the fellows' program.
- Must be a fellow studying gastroenterology in Alberta.
How do I become an ASG member?
Click here to sign up. Membership for nurses costs $25 annually. Membership for fellows costs $0 annually.
Do I need to write an essay for this bursary?
No. All you need to do is complete the short form and attend the conference.
What is the application review process like?
Applications will be reviewed by a member of the ADDS Scientific Planning Committee to ensure that you meet eligibility requirements.
When will I be notified if I win?
Applicants will be notified on May 24, 2024 and will be provided three business days to affirm their acceptance and intended participation in the ADDS.
When will payments be issued?
Bursary payments will be issued after the conclusion of the ADDS Conference, in early June.
