Introduction to Molecular Sieve Use in Gas Processing

September 16, 2026

Molecular sieves are a critical technology for dehydration, sweetening, and purification processes across the Oil & Gas industry. This webinar will provide a practical introduction to molecular sieve fundamentals, including adsorption principles, zeolite structures, product selection, and key applications in natural gas processing, LNG, petrochemicals, and refining. Participants will learn how molecular sieves achieve ultra-low moisture and contaminant levels, while gaining insights into industrial adsorption system design, regeneration best practices, performance optimization, and troubleshooting techniques to improve unit reliability, efficiency, and operating performance.

Ana A. Govar joined Arkema in 2021 and currently serves as Senior Account and Technical Service Manager for Molecular Sieves across the Americas. Based in Houston, Texas, she supports customers with adsorption technologies for gas dehydration and purification in the Oil & Gas industry. Ana holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, earned in 2014, and has since held various technical and engineering roles, including R&D Engineer and Lead Chemical Engineer for manufacturing companies in the Houston area. In her current role, she works closely with operators and engineering teams to develop value-driven solutions that enhance performance, reliability, and efficiency in gas processing applications.
