Leigh Mouck (she/her) has worked for Toronto Public Health for 14 years, primarily as a Sexual Health Promoter. In this role, Leigh provides inclusive, evidence-based sexual health education and support to diverse communities throughout Toronto in both English and French. Leigh’s passion for honest and equitable access to sexual health education drives her work, and she finds great joy in connecting with people who are eager to learn, share, and engage in honest conversations about topics that do not always allow space for open discussion. In addition to her work in sexual health promotion, Leigh has contributed to other areas of public health, including communicable disease management in hospital settings and outbreak prevention in long-term care. Leigh holds a PhD in Social Psychology, where her research examined how personality traits and relational factors influence condom use decision-making.
