Introduction to Decarbonization

October 7th, 2026

Gas processing facilities face growing pressure to control costs while keeping operations safe and reliable.  Carbon pricing programs like Alberta's TIER system evolves. The encouraging news: TIER-driven decarbonization strategies can boost both environmental and financial performance.

This webinar covers practical ways that cutting GHG emissions, lowering carbon intensity, and improving energy efficiency, will facilitate capturing financial benefits through carbon pricing programs and incentives.

Attendees will learn about:

  • Reducing carbon compliance costs and future pricing exposure
  • Improving efficiency and lower operating costs
  • Accessing funding programs like SEMI
  • Identifying decarbonization opportunities that don't compromise safety or reliability
  • Leveraging TIER mechanisms to support reinvestment

Green Sky’s Nelson Lee, will share his insights from real-world examples for the future of low-carbon gas processing—practical insights to benefit from cost reduction, emissions management, and regulatory preparedness.
