Pierre holds the role of Investigations Manager within the Professional Conduct Department (PCD) at the College of Dental Surgeons of Alberta (CDSA). With a fervent dedication to Project and Investigative Management, Pierre has spearheaded substantial transformations within the PCD Investigations Section. He has diligently constructed the necessary infrastructure to ensure that investigations are conducted with fairness, thoroughness, and professionalism. Under Pierre's guidance, a proficient team of professional investigators has been assembled and effectively managed, boasting extensive expertise across all facets of investigative work. Pierre's overarching objective is to cultivate public and membership confidence through the delivery of investigative excellence.

Furthermore, Pierre has played a pivotal role in the development and oversight of the revised Dental Expert Portfolio within the PCD. Here, he has instituted a robust Dental Expert Program, overseeing the training and management of dentists possessing substantial expertise, training, and education in their field. These individuals are equipped with the skills necessary to provide expert opinions, contributing to the enhancement of the PCD's capabilities.

Prior to joining the CDSA team in the summer of 2021, Pierre pursued his post-secondary education at Lethbridge Community College. Subsequently, he embarked on a distinguished career as a police officer with the Edmonton Police Service (EPS), spanning nearly three decades. Throughout his tenure, Pierre amassed extensive experience in investigations, management, and leadership. Notably, he was seconded to the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit-Alberta Law Enforcement Response Teams (CFSEU-ALERT) for several years, where he led multi-disciplinary teams in Edmonton and throughout Alberta, undertaking operations to disrupt and dismantle organized crime networks.
