Dr. Reena Lovinsky is an Infectious Diseases physician at the Scarborough Health Network in Ontario. She is the Medical Director of Infection Prevention and Control for the General and Birchmount Hospitals. She sits on the Provincial Infectious Diseases Advisory Committee on Infection Prevention and Control (PIDAC-IPC). As a member of this committee she helps to advise Public Health Ontario on the prevention and control of health care-associated infections, and works to produce evidence based best practice documents to assist health care organizations across Ontario in improving quality of care, as well as client, patient, staff and resident safety. Dr. Lovinsky is a passionate advocate for patient safety and helped to establish the SHN VaxFacts+ Clinic.
