With over three decades of experience in professional cleaning, Chantal McGivern is a seasoned Environmental Services (EVS) Technician whose career has been defined by dedication, expertise, and leadership in the field. Since earning her EVS Technician Certification in the early 2000s, Chantal has built a strong foundation in cleaning and disinfection practices across healthcare and residential environments. Throughout her career, Chantal has remained deeply committed to hands-on work, developing a comprehensive understanding of infection control, housekeeping methodologies, and laundry operations tailored to the unique needs of care facilities. She currently serves in a supervisory role at a private home for the elderly, overseeing environmental cleaning, disinfection, and laundry services—ensuring a safe, hygienic, and comfortable environment for residents and staff.

Chantal served as Co-Chair on the EHIG of IPAC Canada for the 2024-2025 term.
