Roger Lam is a Senior Manger for the Municipal Relations team at CMHC where he leads the delivery of the Housing Accelerator Fund to municipalities across Canada. In previous roles at CMHC he has delivered housing programs, negotiated Provincial bilateral agreements, supported innovation and partnerships, and delivered the city stream of the Rapid Housing Initiative. He has worked at the Province of Manitoba and British Columbia in various roles including housing, planning, building codes, and mental health and addictions. He is also a municipal planner and has worked in small rural communities in Manitoba and BC. Roger Lam graduated from the University of Manitoba’s City Planning program and is a member of the Canadian Institute of Planners. In his spare time, Roger is the secretary to the Board of Taekwondo Manitoba, a voracious reader, and is fond of walking his dog Bonsai.
