Dr. Siffledeen completed his Gastroenterology studies at the University of Alberta in 2010 and inflammatory bowel disease Fellowship & Master’s degree at the University of Oxford in 2011. He is an associate clinical professor in the Division of Gastroenterology at the University of Alberta. He is the director of the South Edmonton Gastroenterology Research Unit and is an active collaborator in the local, national and international IBD research community. He has been an active member of the Alberta Society of Gastroenterology since 2019, serving on the ADDS planning committee, as treasurer, vice-president and now as president of the ASG.
