Born and raised in Edmonton AB, I completed my undergrad and MSc in the Physiology at the University of Alberta. I completed medical school, residency and GI subspecialty training at the University of Alberta Hospital. I pursued a Therapeutic endoscopy fellowship at S. Michaels hospital in Toronto from 2011-2012. I am currently a Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of Alberta in the Division of Gastroenterology. I am also the Medical Director for SCOPE, Edmonton's colon cancer screening program, and part of the CAG SEE program for endoscopy education across Canada.
