John Bautista is a graduate of the Memorial University of Newfoundland School of Pharmacy and is currently a Clinical Pharmacist Supervisor for the Central Zone of Newfoundland and Labrador Health Services (NLHS). He has been working as an infectious diseases pharmacist for over 20 years at the James Paton Memorial Regional Health Center in Gander, NL and the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Center in Grand Falls-Windsor. John is involved in antimicrobial stewardship provincially, as a member of the Inpatient Antimicrobial Stewardship Committee of NLHS and on a national level, as part of the Canadian Nosocomial Infection Surveillance Program (CNISP) Antimicrobial Utilization (AMU) Working Group.
