Director of Infrastructure Support and Leasing for Newfoundland and Labrador Health Services' Eastern Urban Zone. With more than 26 years of industry experience, 18 of those have been in healthcare. In my previous life, I was in Technical Sales, more technical than sales, which took me across Canada and throughout the USA. Began my healthcare career in 2006 as a Facilities Manager in Rural Newfoundland and later, advanced in a Facilities Support Coordinator position. After 4+ years, I accepted a Facilities position at the Health Sciences Center, the largest Tertiary Care site for the province located in St. John's. In 2012 I moved into a Regional Manager position and last year I moved into the Director role. This position is responsible for all hospitals, long-term care homes and leasing for the Eastern Urban Zone with more than 190 employees reporting either directly to me or indirectly through one of my managers. When not working, I love my time at the cottage, canvassing around the pond in boat or riding the trails on side-by-side. In the winter months you will find me on the snow, usually in western Newfoundland riding snowmobile. I have been married for 23 years and have two sons.
