Anne is the Director of the Infection Prevention and Control Program at St Joseph’s Healthcare in Hamilton. She started her career as a nurse in the Canadian Armed Forces where she received advanced training in Critical Care. She worked primarily in Critical Care before switching into Infection Prevention. Anne obtained a Bachelor of Nursing from Dalhousie University in Halifax Nova Scotia and her Masters of Nursing from D'Youville University in New York. She has been active in Infection Prevention at the local, provincial and national level on various working groups and committees. Anne was a past president, and is an honorary member of IPAC-Canada.
