In this workshop, you will learn about the art of doing conversation analytic research directly from a team of the field’s leading experts. Ultimately, our goal is to introduce participants to some of the key tools and techniques that career conversation analysts use in their day-to-day work. We will cover a wide range of tools, tips, and tricks of the trade to help you overcome practical challenges at each phase of the research process from planning your study to publishing your work. Each of our presenters will briefly introduce their area of expertise, followed by a ‘scientific café’ where participants can directly approach the presenters of their choice. This dynamic discussion format allows you to tailor the workshop to your needs while also fostering networking opportunities for researchers at all career stages.
