Dr Rémi Goupil is a hypertension specialist and nephrologist at the Hôpital du Sacré-Coeur de Montréal, associate professor at the Université de Montréal and a Senior clinician-scientist of the Fonds de recherche du Québec - Santé. His research is focused on optimising blood pressure measurements and hypertension care in different populations. His work has received multiple funding by the CIHR, the Kidney Foundation and the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Since 2024, he serves as Co-Chair for the Hypertension Canada Clinical Practice Guidelines Committee, and is the president-elect of the Société québécoise d'hypertension artérielle.
